Ta bort stjälken. Lättast går detta med att bryta den emot en bordskant. Koka ca. 40 min i saltat vatten, byt vatten en gång. Ät med smör, citron och salt. "Ät" var ett lite fritt valt ord- dra med tänderna från bladen det som mjuknat.

2 Broke Girls

At this time of the year I always face the same problem- what to do on rainy Sunday afternoons or sleepless Tuesday evenings when all the good shows go on summer brake.

I've tried to get into Friends, Will & Grace and SATC again but after seeing the seasons for the 100th time and knowing by heart every single line I notice I leave the show on in the background and start reading blogs...

I tried to get into "Veep" and some other so called funny shows but they just didn't do it for me. After some serious research I found something created by Michael Patrick King; 2 Broke Girls.

Ps. Jennifer Coolidge will always be "Stifler's Mum" to me. Impossible to think of her as someone else.

New habits

I usually buy more expensive heels because I think they will feel better and be more comfortable. Today I anyway tried on cheap pumps at one of Sweden's cheap-shoe-stores Skopunkten and they were sooooo comfortable! 

I noticed that I haven't been wearing high heels for ages! I packed them all in Austria in one of my moving boxes and didn't unpack due to snow and they are all still lying in that box.

Time to change my shoe habits, I thought, while I was drinking a latte in a cute cafeteria in the city after eye-shopping furniture.

Next to the furniture shop is Beyond Retro- a second hand shop from where I once, several years ago, found this cape that I so often use. Now I bought a small leather bag to go with my leather heels (that also has been in that box).

I have a new perfume for the summer :)

This week

Sudoku is a must to get good ideas on airplanes.

Yesterday I worked in Skåne, in a city called Landskrona. I really love these working days where I can spend the day somewhere else than in the office. Especially in Skåne, where they speak my absolute favorite Swedish dialect. I think I am much more creative when I sit in an airplane and stare at the clouds :) Then it feels so luxurious again to return to the office and power through all ideas...

This week has anyway been a bit odd anyway. Meetings with a lot of new people, Wednesday was a holiday (The National Day of Sweden) and yesterday evening we had a summer party with my colleagues. Fra has been in Italy all week and it has rained until today.

Odd was also my taxi ride yesterday. My driver got excited about my nationality and told me everything he knew about the Second World War, the Cold War and the Civil War and the Witer War... :)

Maraton

Lehdessä kerrottiin Tukholmassa olevan kylmempää kuin viime jouluna. 4 asteen "lämpö", sade ja kova tuuli ei kuitenkaan pysäyttänyt maratoonareita. Tänään oli siis vuorossa Stockholm Maraton ja koko kaupunki kiinni sen takia. Täytyy sanoa että hieman hämmästelin... Itse kun kävin aamulla vakiolenkilläni Hagapuistossa olin pukeutunut kaksiin kerroksiin, pipoon ja lapasiin puhumattakaan päällekkäisistä kaulahuiveista ja ikkunan ulkopuolella nuo sporttarit juoksivat ohi shortseissa ja topeissa! Luinkin kilpailun loputtua lehdestä ettei voittajasuosikki voittanutkaan kun kaatui maahan juuri ennen maalia kehon ollessa 32 asteen lämpöinen.

Sundsvall

Jag är i Sundsvall med min kollega Jon. Jag körde hit på morgonen från Stockholm och fick ett gott skratt då jag fann skyltar till platserna "Njutånger" och "Harmångersåsen" på vägen. Vilka namn på byarna!

Väl framme hade Jon och jag hade en kaffestund i ett mysigt cafe där sittplatserna hängde från taket:

Vi hade också en mysig kundkväll med föredrag och middag. Efter det drack vi också en drink i stan :)

Så riktigt roligt att besöka Sundsvall, staden med många fina vinkällare och kustlinje :)
