Triumph Bonneville

So, I have been wanting a cool and easy motorbike. Nothing Asian, nothing too heavy and a bit old style and corky. I saw this model-like girl drive a Honda Cb 500 in the centre of Milan, with a fashionable Vespa helmet and a mini skirt and I instantly knew that my idea is amazing and not stupid :) So, now I want the motorbike in the picture, a Triumph Bonneville in white. I think it could be called "Bunny". My Vespa was Julle, my streetbike Wallu, my car Gulle but the Bonneville in white has to be a Bunny-right?
...when I win the lottery...

Eftermiddagspromenad

We visited the The Museo del Novecento (Museum of the Twentieth Century) last Sunday. Most of the paintings and photographs were quite boring but we also experienced some cool things. I like to go to museums to get some inspiration and ideas to be more creative, the history behind the paintings does not usueally fascinate me so much. But firstly I have to say that the architecture of the museum itself was the coolest!
It was very pleasant to walk around, see the Duomo from the windows, see the natural light fill the place as well as Zumtobel's Cielos, Slotlight and Linaria luminaires.
The objects that gave me inspiration were the books written in a futuristic style.
As I said in the previous post, there were a lot of semi-funny texts written to point out the main thoughts of the certain time period and art style.
I mostly liked the light art (that I have no pictures of, just videos but too big ones to post here) and some funny and ironic pieces of modern art...
The thing above is done by smoking a piece of wood to look like a book shelf.
I wanted to take a picture of the outside architecture but there were all the time people passing. This couple kind of fitted in, I thought :)

Last weekend
My weekend was great! It was filled with so much fun! Romantic date on Friday evening, sitting outside in a garden dining and it was still so warm that we could be in short sleeves and ballerinas (well me), a walk in the night in the Navigli area and going into design shops that were still open at that time, celebrating Fra's birthday and taking a motorbike trip around the lake of Como watching this:

Eating Fra's mothers amazing food, which is always supergood and looks something like this:

(She also tried a new recipe for lasagna with mushrooms that my mother has picked and dried in Finland and oh-my-gosh what a taste! Mmmmmm!) Then I have played a lot with Milo, who yells "Adda, adda, asko!" Which means "Saara, Saara, Casco!" Which means that I have to put the motorbike helmet on my head and Milo open the visir and askes me if I am there :) :) Fra gets "Anci, Anci, motaah!" which means "Franci, Franci, Moto" which means Fra has to play with the toy motorbike so that the front end is in the air :) When a motobike passes on the street Milo yells "Adda, Anci, Asco, Motaah!"

He is so adorable. We also visited the 900 museum which has luminaires from Zumtobel (the company I work at) and in the museum there was funny texts written on the walls:

But more about the museum in the next post. Anyway, my weekend was pretty awsome and I am sad that I cannot drive to Milan anymore every weekend when I soon move to Stockholm. However, I am very happy to live in a city soon :) I need life that does not sleep :)
Oh, I forgot! I finally got to eat a pizza! Iina e-mailed me some days ago about pizza and I was drooling after one for many days! I even talked about pizza so much that I got Jenni to skip her evening program for a pizza :) So I finally got my most-amazing pizza margherita with mozzarella di bufala... in this area (where Fra and I had our first date, hihi):

And the pizza being like this (mmmm!):
Thanks for asking, my diet is proceeding greatly :) :)

Pictures
Yesterday I posted about my dream apartment. That got me thinking... thinking about paintings and pictures and other wall accessories.
I have taken 3 photographs that I would love to have in these grey shades on a wall.
This one I took in Lindau last winter (I love the couple who walk romantically in the middle. I have no idea who they are):
The second one I took in Salzburg last spring, when we visited it with my mum. It was early morning. (Here I love the little girl and her grandpa in the left corner. Don't know them either):
The third one I like is a pic I took lying in a curve, on a moving motorbike, with a small pocket camera in Corsica last summer, so the quality is not amazing but I like the mountains after mountains after mountains getting lighter and lighter in colour:
I need now to develop them big and buy nice frames :)
