It has become a bit of a thing here, this weekend travelling. Usually I sit down on my floor and open a map (with Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary) and start to think where I have still not been on that map and what could be interesting. The problem is that I would like the place to be of such a distance that spending the night wouldn't be necessary. This is a problem because I think I have soon visited everything on that map that is in such limits :) But I found one for last weekend! Augsburg in Germany.
Fra and I drove there in the afternoon, walked around the old town and ate dinner before driving home. The town was cute, some of the buildings very impressive (like the Dom) but otherwise a bit dull. Or maybe the dull feelings came from the bad weather? We saw many churches, the City Hall (with a puppet-like show. The town is famous for puppets), the Christmas market, Mozart's fathers house etc etc.
